Mia Maples
Student Member

With one year of experience as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Meridiana Elementary School and as a Youth Mentor with the Teens Make Health Happen Organization, a strong foundation in educational support and mentorship has been established. Mia is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Our Lady of the Lake University, following completion of a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Houston. Leadership experience includes serving as President and Treasurer of the Epsilon Pi Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. at the University of Houston. Active membership in the Houston Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and the Association of Black Psychologists further demonstrates a commitment to professional growth. Demonstrates adaptability, flexibility, and strong skills in administration and management.
