Ep 05: Texas and Access MFT - In 2022, the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) began a strategic plan to move towards license portability across all 50 states. The AAMFT Board of Directors initiated Access MFT to identify specific barriers to license portability and to work on overcoming them. Since then, AAMFT has worked with several states to give legislative attention to license probability. We are happy to announce that TAMFT has officially joined with AAMFT and their Access MFT campaign. In this episode, we talk to Amanda Darnley and Roger Smith of AAMFT to go over what portability is, how it benefits us, and what we can do to help the overall goal.
