JoAngeli Kasper

JoAngeli Kasper is a first-generation Mexican-American woman pursuing a doctorate in marriage and family therapy at Texas Wesleyan University. She holds a bachelor's degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a master's degree in Counseling and Human Development from Texas Woman's University. She is a dancer, an artist, a creator, a mother, a wife, a survivor, a counselor, an ally, and a follower of Jesus Christ. She has been in private practice in North Texas for approximately 20 years. She loves to travel and spend time with her family and her corgi puppy.

As a non-traditional graduate student, she feels she has a unique perspective that would benefit her fellow students and the TSAMFT board. She is passionate about advancing the field of marriage and family therapy, and serving on the Board of Directors would allow her to actively contribute to its growth and development.
