Sofia Georgiadou, Ph.D.
President-Elect 

Sofia Georgiadou, Ph.D., LMFT-S, LPC-S, NCC, brings over 15 years of experience as a clinician, educator, and supervisor. She has taught systemic therapy courses at multiple universities, developed accredited curricula, and supervised pre-licensed professionals as an LMFT-S. As the founder of the Society for the Teaching of Marriage and Family Therapy (STMFT) and host of the Learning and Teaching Systemic Therapy podcast, she mentors therapists globally. Dr. Georgiadou has served with COAMFTE, COAST, and TAMFT and developed initiatives in trauma-informed care, clinician wellness, and technology integration. Her dedication to systemic therapy drives her mission to advance education, mentorship, and professional development in our incredible field.
