Leila Anderson, LMFT-S

Leila Anderson, LMFT-S, is a systemic therapist, supervisor, and consultant based in the Austin area. She is the owner of Oleander Counseling & Consulting and Arc Psychotherapy. She works at the intersection of clinical practice, product development, and mental health innovation.

Leila has worked across treatment centers, correctional settings, psychiatric hospitals, and community-based care, with a focus on complex clinical presentations and high-acuity populations. Her work integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, DBT, and attachment-based approaches, with an emphasis on countertransference, clinician decision-making, and the self-of-the-therapist.

She is actively involved in advancing the field of marriage and family therapy through education, supervision, and contributions to emerging clinical technologies. As a member of the TAMFT Board, she is particularly interested in how therapists navigate ethical complexity in a rapidly changing cultural and technological landscape.
